KABUL: Health and local officials in Gaza report that at least 32 Palestinians have lost their lives due to Israeli airstrikes across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The Palestinian Civil Administration noted that among the martyrs are women and children. According to their reports, helicopters targeted tents housing displaced persons in the south of Khan Younis.
Palestinian sources have described the attacks as some of the most severe since the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire mediated by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Hamas stated that seven of those martyred in Khan Younis were members of a displaced family.
A Civil Defense spokesperson added that residential buildings, tents, shelters, and a police center were targeted in these strikes.
