KABUL: Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Acting Minister of National Defense and Head of the Security and Clearance Commission, said that stability of the system and the protection of the people’s security is a religious and national duty of IEA’s officials.
According to a statement from the commission on Wednesday, he made the remarks during the meeting of the Security and Clearance Commission, stating that the security situation of the country and the progress made in this field have been discussed in the meeting.
The Minister of National Defense emphasized that this responsibility must be carried out sincerely and with sustained prudence.
According to the statement, reports and proposals from various provinces of the country were presented in the meeting, and emphasis was placed on the necessity of structural reforms in this regard.
The commission has been established to provide nationwide security, crack down on the activities of vicious groups in the country and bring reforms among Emirati security forces.
