Abbas Araghchi: Tehran does not seek to expand war in the region

KABUL: Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, during a meeting with heads of foreign delegations and ambassadors stated that Tehran does not seeks that war spread to other countries and regions.
According to Iranian media outlets, he emphasized that Tehran is not the initiator of this conflict, asserting that the aggression has been imposed upon them.
He pointed out that the Israeli regime’s attacks indicate its opposition to negotiations and diplomacy, while Iran continues to pursue diplomacy regarding its nuclear program.
Araghchi condemned the Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, labeling them a significant violation of international laws. He stated, “Israel has crossed a new red line of international rights. The United States is complicit in the Israeli regime’s attacks, and Washington must take responsibility.”
During the meeting, the Iranian Foreign Minister also urged the U.S. to condemn the Israeli regime’s assaults on their nuclear facilities.
