KABUL: Dozens of protesters gathered in Los Angeles, California, to oppose U.S. airstrikes against Iran, media reported.
According to Reuters, the protest took place on Sunday, where demonstrators expressed their opposition to U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Reports indicate that Iranian-American participants were also involved, voicing their dissent against U.S. military actions and America’s involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict.
Previously, several high-ranking U.S. officials had expressed concern regarding the airstrikes, indicating apprehension about the actions taken against Iran.
Some officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that President Donald Trump executed these strikes without congressional approval.
The U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have provoked reactions from numerous countries and condemned America’s direct involvement in the Tehran-Tel Aviv conflict.
