56 Afghan prisoners released from Pakistan and returned home

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations has announced the return of 56 Afghan prisoners released from various prisons in Pakistan.

According to the Kandahar Migration Department, the individuals were detained in different areas of Pakistan and had been held for a period ranging from one day to a week after their arrest.

Officials stated that following biometric registration, documentation, and the receipt of humanitarian assistance, the individuals were sent back to their original homes.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations has recently accelerated the process of releasing Afghan prisoners, facilitating their return, and providing humanitarian aid in neighboring countries.
