KABUL: Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Defense Minister Yasar Guler, and their accompanying delegation, in an official trip on Tuesday arrived in Islamabad.
According to reports, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the delegation at Islamabad International Airport, with Deputy Foreign Minister Sayed Ali Asad Gilani receiving them.
The high-level Turkish delegation is expected to hold separate meetings with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir during their visit.
Both sides will discuss the expansion of bilateral relations, regional security, economic cooperation, and the enhancement of defense ties.
