KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement today that the Afghan-Kazakh Economic Forum, has been opened with the participation of officials from Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
The forum, showcasing Afghan products and productions, was inaugurated in the city of Shymkent, attended by Nooruddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Jumangarin, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Kazakhstan.
The Afghan-Kazakh Economic Forum will be open to visitors from October 28 to 30 of the current year.
During the opening, Minister Nooruddin Azizi stated that the forum aims to introduce Afghanistan’s products and economic capacities.
He emphasized the importance of expanding economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
Previously, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan had agreed with the Governor of Turkistan, Kazakhstan, on exchanging lists of potential export items between the two countries.
