KABUL: Zahran Mamdani, the newly elected mayor of New York, has once again stated that if Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, enters the city, he will be arrested.
The Turkish media outlet TRT reported today, that in an interview with ABC7, Mamdani expressed his commitment to enforcing international laws.
He stated, “The judgments issued by the International Criminal Court must be implemented, be it for Benjamin Netanyahu or for Vladimir Putin.”
The newly elected mayor of New York had previously made similar statements, affirming his intention to arrest Netanyahu if he were to arrive in New York.
Zahran Mamdani is a Shiite Muslim American and a member of the Democratic Party.
He was recently elected as the mayor of New York, a city that hosts the world’s largest political assembly, the United Nations.
