KABUL: Leading a delegation Mawlavi Mohammad Ismail Ghazni, the governor of Badakhshan, has traveled to Tajikistan.
The Border Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior has confirmed the delegation’s visit to Tajikistan, where they will discuss border coordination and order in the ports and crossings of the two countries.
According to published information, the Afghan government delegation is anticipated to meet with Mukhtor Kuhistani, the governor of Badakhshan in Tajikistan, and the national security deputy of the borders, along with other officials from the country.
This official visit comes following a recent trip by a high-level Tajik government delegation to Kabul, where they met and discussed matters with officials of the Islamic Emirate.
Additionally, local officials from the border provinces of Tajikistan met with the deputy governor of Kunduz during their visit to the province.
