KABUL: Around 30,000 families received humanitarian aids in 10 provinces of the country, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements the other day.
The aids included cash and foodstuff has been distributed to destitute families in Helmand, Takhar, Kunar, Kunduz, Jawzjan, Ghazni, Khor, Nangarhar, Samangan and Paktia provinces.
The humanitarian assistance was provided by the World Food Programme (WFP), and distributed to needy families with the cooperation of the related directorates of the ministry, said the statement.
Two days ago, humanitarian assistance was distributed to over 16,000 families in ten provinces of the country.
