22 Afghan migrants died after a ship sank in Turkey

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations states that as a result of the sinking of a migrant boat in Turkey, 22 Afghan migrants have also lost their lives and four others were rescued.

According to the statement, the incident took place in the “Çanakkale” province of Turkey.

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations has requested Turkey to intensify efforts in finding the missing Afghan migrants.

Turkish authorities have stated that the boat had 46 passengers on board at the time of sinking.
