KABUL: A water supply network with a cost of 7.8 million Afghanis has been inaugurated in the country’s southern province of Zabul, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.
According to the statement, the project worth 7.8 million Afghani, was constructed with the financial support of the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Sultan Malkhi village, Shahjoy districts of Zabul province.
During the construction of the project job opportunities have been provided for dozens of people and clean drinking water provided to scores of families in the province.
