KABUL: Foreign Affairs Minister, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with Mohammad Reza Bahrami, an official responsible for South Asian affairs.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the meeting focused on bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Iran and the regional situation.
Muttaqi described relations between the two countries as expanding and said Afghanistan and Iran could use existing opportunities to broaden cooperation in various sectors.
The Iranian side also emphasized the importance of maintaining bilateral relations and continuing dialogue between the two countries.
