KABUL: United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has met with Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in Afghanistan, regional developments, and cooperation between the United Nations and Tajikistan.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said Guterres expressed appreciation for Tajikistan’s continued cooperation on the global water agenda and glacier-related issues, while welcoming President Rahmon’s leadership in these areas.
