KABUL: Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a 72-hour suspension of Russian attacks on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, starting at midnight on September 6.
The Associated Press reported on Saturday, September 5, that the temporary halt coincides with a visit to Moscow by U.S. representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
According to the report, the pause is part of efforts to reduce tensions and create conditions for further talks on ending the Russia-Ukraine war.
