KABUL: The High Commission for Addressing Refugee Issues said in a statement that 201 Afghan migrant families, comprising 1,002 people, entered Afghanistan through the Torkham, Spin Boldak, Silk Bridge and Islam Qala crossings and were registered over the past 24 hours.
The statement said 121 families, comprising 692 people, were transported to various provinces during the same period, while 132 families received financial assistance and 114 SIM cards were also distributed to returnees.
According to the statement, returning migrants have also received healthcare, food, and other essential services.
The process of registering, receiving, transporting and supporting returnees continues at designated locations.
