KABUL: Yemen’s Houthi movement has warned Pakistan and Turkey against supporting any side in what it described as the ongoing “injustice against the Yemeni people,” urging them not to take actions that could draw them into the conflict.
According to Iranian media reports, Nasruddin Amer, a Houthi official, said any party that takes action against the group would effectively involve itself in the ongoing war in Yemen.
The warning comes after Saudi Arabia temporarily suspended operations on its East-West oil pipeline following a drone attack on the major oil transportation route.
The East-West pipeline stretches for about 1,200 kilometers and has become an important alternative route for transporting and exporting oil from the region amid growing obstacles to oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz.
