KABUL: The Turkish government sent a shipment of 620 tons of humanitarian aid to the earthquake-affected families in the country’s western province of Herat, the provincial Red Crescent Society said in a statement on Wednesday.
The shipments through Torkhundi railway arrived in Herat, said the statement adding that the aid shipments include food and non-food, tents, blankets, wheelchairs, health packages, and essential household items arrived in Herat
According to the statement, the aids could address a part of the disaster-affected families’ needs.
