KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, has traveled to Ghor province to help the victims of the recent floods, his office said in a statement on Thursday.
Mullah Baradar has tasked the provincial officials of Ghor to help and cooperate with the victims of the recent floods.
“The Islamic Emirate is obliged to help the countrymen who are facing problems in every corner of Afghanistan,” the statement quoted him as saying.
The recent floods in Afghanistan hit the northern provinces of the country, including Baghlan, and caused countless personal and financial losses.
