Health minister asks for Japan’s cooperation in health sector

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Public Health, Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with the former head of UNAMA, Tadamichi Yamamoto, the Japanese Ambassador to Afghanistan Takayoshi Kuromiya and the accompanying delegation, here in Kabul, the ministry said in a statement today.
According to the statement, Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, asked for cooperation in strengthening the health system, increasing the capacity of Afghan health personnel and expanding health services to remote areas.
In the meeting, the representatives of Japan assured their country’s permanent cooperation in the health sector.
