Chief of IOM to Afghanistan assures continued cooperation to refugee ministry

KABUL: The Deputy Technical Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Rashid, met with Maria Moita, the Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Afghanistan, on Sunday, here in Kabul, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the efforts and assistance of the International Organization for Migration to the Afghan returnees have been appreciated.
In the meeting, Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Rashid said: “You have presented a real and realistic image of Afghanistan to the world through your activities.”
Maria Moita, the Head of the International Organization for Migration in Afghanistan, has described her work tenure in this country as memorable.
Praising the activities of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations, she assured her organization [IOM] of continued cooperation with the ministry.
