KABUL: The U.S. Department of Defense has announced $425 million in military assistance to Ukraine.
The ministry said in a statement on Friday that this new package will be made from the U.S. military reserves.
According to the statement, the military assistance includes air defense for advanced surface-to-air missile networks, ammunition for high-mobility 155 mm artillery missile networks, armored vehicles, and anti-tank weapons.
It is said that the eastern regions of Ukraine, especially Kharkiv are facing extensive Russian missile attacks.
