KABUL: Leading a delegation, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, left the country for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan today, at the official invitation of that country, his office said in a statement.
The Islamic Emirate delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Khajayev, and representatives of the Islamic Emirate.
The Afghan delegation will discuss the strengthening and development of political, social, economic, and cultural relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan with the officials of that country, said the statement.
It is expected that the visit of the Afghan delegation to Uzbekistan will further expand the cooperation between the two countries.
