Uzbek Prime Minister assures of his country’s interest in extracting and transiting commercial goods in Afghanistan

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, during his visit to Tashkent, met with Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.

In the meeting, which was also attended by a number of high-ranking officials of Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, emphasized the development of political, economic, cultural and commercial relations between the two countries with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. 

In the meeting, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov, assured his country’s interest in extracting mines and transiting of commercial goods in Afghanistan and other countries. 

He also said that the implementation of the Afghan-Trans project will bring many benefits to all involved countries including Afghanistan.
