KABUL: During his visit to Uzbekistan, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met with the Governor of Bukhara Batur Zarifov, Arg said in a statement on Sunday.
In the meeting, both sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations.
According to the statement, Bukhara Governor Batur Zarifov called the relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan historical and cultural.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs and his accompanying delegation, during their trip to Uzbekistan, have also visited the Islamic and historical places of Bukhara.
