Dozens of Afghan nationals freed from Pakistani prison

KABUL: At least 66 Afghan nationals have been released from Pakistani jails and returned to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations (MoRR) said in a statement on Saturday.

The Afghans who were imprisoned due to lack of legal documents have been released and returned to the country via Torkham crossing, according to the statement.

Each of the prisoners has spent 3 to 30 days in Pakistani jails, said the statement.

Meanwhile, the Afghan consulate in Karachi city of Pakistan, says that a woman, with his wife and son, has been released from the Sindh state of Pakistan.
