KABUL: The residents of Panama have staged protests against statements made by Donald Trump.
The demonstrations took place at a time, when the new U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, visit Panama.
Protesters, including students and teachers, condemned U.S. policies by burning images of Trump and Rubio.
The leader of the Panama Teachers’ Union emphasized that Panama rejects U.S. efforts to turn the country into a colony.
On January 20, during his inauguration speech, Donald Trump stated that Panama would once again become part of the U.S.
