KABUL: Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has responded Donald Trump’s recent remarks regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
In a speech to Iranian Air Force officers, Khamenei stated that negotiations with the United States are not effective in addressing the country’s problems.
The remarks came after reports suggested that Iranian officials had engaged in discussions with Trump’s administration in recent months.
This occurs as the U.S. President has previously called for a new nuclear deal with Iran.
