KABUL: The Head of Farah’s Futsal Federation, Hamidullah Farahi said that six futsal grounds valued at 21.8 million Afghanis have been inaugurated in the center of the province.
According to Farahi, the futsal grounds were built with the financial support of local residents and several investors of the province in the outskirts of Masaw, Babokandak, Askarabad, Bagh-e-Pul, and Bagh-e-Kafe.
The aim of constructing the futsal fields is to promote and develop sports in Farah province.
This comes at a time when futsal has seen significant growth in the country in recent years, with the national futsal team achieving historic success last year.
