KABUL: The Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, has sent a congratulatory letter to Ahmad al-Sharaa, the president of the Transitional Government of Syria, Arg said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister wished him success in overcoming challenges and in promoting good governance in Syria.
Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund expressed hope for positive relations between Kabul and Damascus, according to the statement.
Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate in a statement had congratulated al-Sharaa’s victory.
