KABUL: The Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mawlavi Mohammad Younus Rashid, speaking in a press conference on Thursday, stated that the Islamic Emirate is committed to creating job opportunities for the country’s youth.
Mawlavi Rashid noted that currently, there are 3 million unemployed youth in the country, and this number rising every year.
“Around 20,000 educated youth are added to the ranks of unemployed,” he said, adding that the Islamic Emirate is working to reduce unemployment by leveraging various opportunities.
This comes as the Islamic Emirate has created hundreds of thousands of jobs over the past three years through the launch of large infrastructure projects and both medium- and short-term initiatives.
