{"id":1331,"date":"2024-02-18T05:26:22","date_gmt":"2024-02-18T05:26:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=1331"},"modified":"2024-02-18T05:26:25","modified_gmt":"2024-02-18T05:26:25","slug":"dabs-welcomes-world-banks-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2024\/02\/18\/dabs-welcomes-world-banks-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"DABS welcomes World Bank\u2019s initiative\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: Following the allocation of $300 million by the World Bank for the completion of the CASA-1000 project, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has welcomed this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spokesperson of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, Hekmatullah Maiwandi, in a videoclip Saturday, stated that the leadership of DABS has welcomed and appreciated the decision of the World Bank\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe World Bank&#8217;s decision to complete the CASA-1000 electricity transmission project is not only important for Afghanistan but also to the entire region,\u201d said DABS spokesman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Maiwandi, further said, \u201cThe company is committed to providing the required electricity to the citizens of the country in a regular and reliable manner\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth mentioning that two days ago, the World Bank Board of Directors approved the allocation of $300 million from the Bank\u2019s International Development Association (IDA) fund for the resumption of half-finished projects in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been said that the allocated amount will be used for the resumption of the CASA-1000 project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: Following the allocation of $300 million by the World Bank for the completion of the CASA-1000 project, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has welcomed this initiative.
