Of this, Pakistan exported goods worth $1.77 billion to these countries and imported goods valued at $641 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Statistics from 2024 show that Pakistan exported $1.34 billion and imported $581 million from Afghanistan and Central Asian nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After Afghanistan, Kazakhstan ranks second with $250.8 million in trade, followed by Uzbekistan, which has $91.4 million in exports and $20.3 million in imports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These figures reflect a clear improvement in trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as Central Asia, in the current year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Pakistan has signed a preferential tariff agreement with Afghanistan this year, allowing four types of goods from each country to be exported with reduced&nbsp;tariffs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: Pakistani media reports indicate a significant increase in trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as Central Asian countries, in the current year (2025), compared to the previous year.
