{"id":24357,"date":"2026-08-30T12:04:57","date_gmt":"2026-08-30T12:04:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=24357"},"modified":"2026-08-30T12:04:58","modified_gmt":"2026-08-30T12:04:58","slug":"200-bed-hospital-to-be-built-in-helmands-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/08\/30\/200-bed-hospital-to-be-built-in-helmands-capital\/","title":{"rendered":"200-bed hospital to be built in Helmand\u2019s Capital"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs says a 200-bed hospital will be built in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The office said the project, which will be constructed on 12,000 square meters of land at a cost of 214 million Afghanis, was approved during the latest meeting of the Procurement Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Office, the hospital will provide a range of medical services, including emergency care, internal medicine, outpatient services, orthopedics, surgery, ophthalmology, mental and neurological care, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction of the hospital is expected to be completed within the next two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This comes as plans for the construction of general hospitals have recently been developed in several provinces across Afghanistan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs says a 200-bed hospital will be built in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province.
