He also warned that a new U.S. attack could expand the geographic scope of the conflict, with additional areas potentially coming under attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IRGC spokesman said Iranian forces are also prepared for a prolonged war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The remarks came after Iran\u2019s Central Headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya, the country\u2019s top wartime military command, claimed that the United States, with the support of some regional countries, was preparing to resume military action against Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The command also claimed that it had obtained information about a meeting involving the United States, Israel and several regional countries in a European country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: Hosein Mohebi, spokesman for Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has warned that Iran would use new and strategic weapons if the United States launches another attack.
