KABUL: The President of the National Olympic Committee and Sports of the country, Mawlavi Ahmadullah Wasiq, in a meeting with a number of athletes and officials of Khost province said that we should have a sports community that represents Islamic values and Afghani culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the meeting, Mawlavi Wasiq called Khost as one of the country’s richest provinces with the highest number of athletes and emphasized special attention has been paid to the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President of the National Olympic Committee congratulated the recent victory of the futsal team and their qualification for the Futsal World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further stated that alongside focusing on the development of athletes’ sports abilities, attention should also be paid to their intellectual and moral growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the meeting, officials and athletes of Khost province also expressed their suggestions and recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
