PUL-E-KHUMRI: The sugar factory started operation today [Saturday] after nearly ten years of inactivation.
During the inauguration ceremony the Director of State Enterprises Mawlavi Abdul Hamid Akhundzada, said that during the previous administration, most of the state enterprises were turned into ruins and no attention was paid to them.
“Islamic Emirate is committed to the rehabilitation of state-owned companies”, Akhundzada said.
According to the officials, with the operation of this factory, the country will achieve self-sufficiency in sugar production, domestic income will increase and job opportunities will be provided to hundreds of youths.
