UN renewed the call for provision of safe and comprehensive aid in Gaza

KABUL: The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres renewed its call for safe and nationwide humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.

“Our UN colleagues in Gaza are working heroically every day to reach people in need-distributing food, medicine, water & other essential items. But in quantities that are far from enough,” Guterres wrote on his X Friday.

Apparently, Guterres’ points to the lack of aid is the restrictions imposed by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip.

“I renew my call for rapid, safe, unhindered and sustained humanitarian access throughout Gaza,” said the tweet.

After the Israeli occupying regime started aggressive in the Gaza Strip, the international community has called for unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid and to keep the route of humanitarian aid to Gaza open, but this request has not been respected by the aforementioned forces.
