With Islamic Emirate takeover, 13 state-owned companies reactivated

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister Office for Economic Affairs, in a video tape said that with the Islamic Emirate takeover 13 state-owned companies reactivated.

 “These companies have fundamentally been rebuilt, and they have generated 9 billion Afghanis since the beginning of the current year,” the report said as quoted by the video.

The Economic Commission added these companies included Helmand Bost cotton and vegetable oils, oil and gas, Balkh cotton and vegetable oils, Kunduz Spenzar, Millie Bus, Afghan Cart, Central Selo, Balkh Selo, Pul-e-Khumri Loom, Kandahar Wool textile, Arzaq, Afghan Tour and handicrafts development companies.

It should be noted that currently cotton, oil, soap, cloth, paper towels, military uniforms, handicrafts and various food items are producing in these companies.

With the reactivation of the factories direct and indirect jobs have been provided to 48 thousand people.
