KABUL: According to the Ministry of Higher Education a conference under the title “climate change” would be held in Nangarhar University.
Spokesman of the ministry Hafiz Ziaullah Hashimi, said the conference would be held tomorrow [Saturday, Feb 10].
According to Mr. Hashimi, the conference is unique in regional countries.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Higher Education said that in the conference, in addition to climate change experts from abroad, university lecturers have also been invited.
The International Conference on Climate Change has been initiated with the financial support of the Ministry of Higher Education to probe effective solutions in response to climate change.
The outcome of the conference will be used in the preparation and development of policies and programs related to improving climate change.
