KABUL: The commander of the 209 Al-Fatah Army Crops, Mullah Rahmatullah Mohammad in a meeting with Hassanov Salim the commander of the border forces of Uzbekistan discussed border issues, the Ministry of National Defense said in a statement yesterday.
In the meeting, the delegation of the Ministry of National Defense shared their problems and thoughts with the Uzbek border forces delegation.
The Ministry of National Defense added that the two sides have agreed on coordination, bilateral relations and border cooperation.
Uzbekistan is one of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries located in the north of the country.
A few days ago, the chief of intelligence of Uzbekistan during his trip to Kabul had also met with the acting Minister of National Defense.
