KABUL: Afghanistan and Iran relations have significantly expanded in the past two years said the Deputy Political Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sher Mohammad Abas Stanikzai during a ceremony held, today, in Kabul to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
Sher Mohammad Abas Stanikzai said: “Relation between Kabul and Tehran has eye-catchingly expanded in political, economic, cultural and scientific areas, in the past two years.”
According to him, the two countries have moved towards trust building based on the principle of goodwill and good neighborliness and they have reached the conclusion that having a win-win relationship is essential for securing the interests of the people of both nations.
It should be noted that today, Sunday, coincides with the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran against the royal army of that country.
