KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, in a meeting on Sunday, with Yessing Gildiye, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kabul, discussed the visit of a Kazakh delegation to Afghanistan, the ministry said in a statement yesterday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the investment in Afghanistan’s mining and railway infrastructure, and the activation of the transit route between Torgundi-Spin Boldak, according to the statement.
Kazakhstan is one of the regional countries that have extensive political, trade, and economic relations with Afghanistan.
It is expected that in the near future, a delegation from the private sector, including investors from Kazakhstan, will visit Kabul to study the available opportunities in Afghanistan.
Following the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, many countries have shown interest in investing in various sectors in Afghanistan.
