KABUL: Cash and foodstuff humanitarian assistance were distributed to over 10 thousand families, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements yesterday.
The aids were distributed to the destitute families of Maidan Wardak, Khost, Farah, Kandahar, and Laghman provinces.
The assistance has been provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and distributed to destitute families in cooperation with the provincial directorates of the ministry, according to the statement.
Needy families have warmly welcomed and expressed gratitude over receiving humanitarian aids.
It’s mentionable that the distribution of humanitarian aid to needy families in different provinces of the country continues by the international relief organizations in cooperation with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
