Islamic Emirate condemns ongoing Zionist Israel’s brutal attacks in Rafa, Gaza

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a statement on Monday strongly condemns the relentless and brutal attacks carried out by the Zionist aggressors in Rafah city of the Gaza Strip.

According to the statement, the attacks, which have been ongoing for four months, have caused immense suffering to the one and a half million Palestinians residing in Rafah, the majority of whom are innocent children and women seeking refuge from the relentless bombings and conflicts.

“The Islamic Emirate expresses deep concern over the continuous assault on Rafah and recognizes it as yet another grave tragedy that exacerbates the existing crisis,” said the statement adding that the ongoing atrocities committed by the Zionist regime are abhorrent and demand an immediate cessation.

“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls upon influential governments, both international and regional, Islamic nations, and human rights organizations to take immediate action to halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza and occupied Palestine. It is imperative that a lasting and comprehensive solution be found to address this critical issue,” the statement quoted,” said the statement.

According to the source, the persistence of the genocide in Gaza raises serious questions about the credibility and values of the international order, and it further undermines the fragile trust in international organizations and humanitarian conventions.

The statement quoting the ministry went on as saying the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and reiterates its firm support for their just cause. We urge the international community to join forces in putting an end to the suffering and injustice inflicted upon the Palestinians in Gaza and occupied Palestine.

It should be mentioned that the Israeli invaders carried out air and ground attacks on Rafah city yesterday (Sunday, February 11) in which around 100 Palestinians were martyred.

An official of the al-Kuwai hospital in Rafah told the media that the Israeli invaders used weapons that are prohibited in the rest of the world. This doctor says that these weapons “cut body parts and cause brain disorders.”

On the other hand, BCC said in a report that food supplies have run out in Gaza and children are living on animal fodder and hay.

Residents of Gaza say that many people use animal feed to survive their children.

The World Food Organization admitted to the BBC that this week the Israeli soldiers did not allow their aid trucks to enter Gaza.

The Israeli invaders had previously threatened to expand their operations and possibly reach the common border with Egypt. Many institutions and foreign countries, including the United Nations, have condemned Israel’s decision.
