No one should be allowed to harm Kabul-Moscow relations, Mullah Baradar

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mallah Abdul Ghani Baradar in a meeting with the Russian President’s Advisor and special envoy on climate affairs Ruslan Edelgeriyev and his accompanying delegation said that Kabul and Moscow should not allow anyone to harm the two countries’ relations.

The two sides discussed political, economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and Russia, Deputy PM office said in a statement yesterday.

According to the statement, the two sides also held discussions on the investment opportunities for Russian investors in Afghanistan, cooperation in the climate change sector, and the expansion of bilateral relations.

The Russian envoy praised Afghanistan’s recent developments.

He also assured to convey the real picture of Afghanistan to his country’s leadership, said the statement.

Ruslan Edelgeriyev has previously met with the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and officials of the National Environment Protection Agency.
