KABUL: The Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, in a meeting, with Paul Kloman Becken, Chargé d’Affaires of the Norwegian Embassy in Afghanistan, said the Islamic Emirate wants to improve and strengthen relations with the countries of the world based on mutual respect, the ministry said in a statement Wednesday.
Paul Kloman praised the Islamic Emirate’s achievements in security, fighting corruption and drugs, implementing development projects, and managing the financial and banking system, and added that the development within the past nearly three years was very important in the development of Afghanistan and opening of new interaction door with the world countries, said the ministry.
“The United Nations meeting which is due to be held on Afghanistan on February 18 to 19 in Doha, is important for positive development between the Islamic Emirate and the world countries,” the statement quoted Becken as saying.
Minister of Information and Culture, called role of the Kingdom of Norway in the process of negotiations between Qatar and the Islamic Emirate valuable and said dialogue and understanding is the basic solution for addressing problems and challenges.
“Each country faces problems after the war, but gradually overcomes the problems, and after decades of war, now Afghanistan has a system that governs all provinces of the country,” the statement quoted Khairkhwa as saying.
Emphasizing on the development and consolidation of relations with the countries of the world based on mutual respect, Mullah Khairkhwa said that the Islamic Emirate has always been committed to having productive and positive interactions with all countries of the world.
