Mawlavi Abdul Kabir: It is time to strengthen and protect Islamic system

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said: “Jihad ended and it is time to strengthen and protect the Islamic system in the country,” Arg said in a statement yesterday.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, made the remarks in the graduation ceremony of Talib al-Ulama (religious student) of Hadith, at Darul Uloom of Darul Aman in Kabul city.

 “With the end of the occupation and the expulsion of foreign forces from the country, jihad ended and the Islamic system ruling over the country,” the statement quoted Deputy PM as saying.

According to Mr. Kabir, the difference between withdrawal of the Soviet Red Army and NATO forces from Afghanistan is that after the NATO withdrawal, a pure Islamic system has ruling in the country.

He considers people’s support from the Islamic system as a special feature of the current government in the country.
