KABUL: The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has handed over the keys of 192 newly built hoses to the quake-affected families in Paktika province, ARCS said in a statement Sunday.
The Afghan Red Crescent Society said: “Each house was built with the cost of 226,000 Afghanis and each bathroom with 34,400 Afghanis.”
Each unit has two rooms, a kitchen, a hallway, and a bathroom.
Officials of the ARCS added that these houses have been built in relevant areas of the Geyan district of Paktika province.
Last year, as a result of a deadly earthquake thousands of houses were destroyed and thousands of people lost their lives in Khost, Paktika and Paktia provinces.
