Turkish investors seeking investment in airfields, electricity and industrial parks

KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that Turkish investors seeking investment in various fields in Afghanistan, including airfields, power production, industrial parks and commercial townships.

A number of Turkish investors made the remarks in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal, the ministry said in a statement today.

 “Industry and Commerce should not be vulnerable to politics, and the Islamic Emirate implements economic policy in trade and industrial relations with every country,” the statement quoted Mawlavi Qudratullah as saying.

Following the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in the country, many countries, including Islamic countries, have expressed interest in investing in Afghanistan.
